Who do you trust?
Not me, I mean I dont fully trust my ears, eyes or brain when it comes to testing and reviewing audio products - the tricky fellas that they are.
Not to mention was the item bought?, a loaneror a review unit.
So many variables to muddle the process.
I do try to minimalize my own bias by slowly improving my ways of testing and comparing gear.
Although I dont usually write about the actual comparisons usually that I engineer whilst testing for a dap, dac or earphone etc, it certainly is part of my process.
Volume testing using an SPL meter is a must.
Now after recently buying a basic headphone switcher I can enjoy adding another layer to the reviewing process.
Its a labor of love.
