New JVC Spiral Dots ++

Physical differences are the inner core/stem is color coded on the ++.
It also seems to be slightly firmer and and have a better lip to grip the IEM nozzle for a better seal.

The ++ outer is more a smoother matt and soft feeling (but still firm) finish, whilst the original has a more shiny harder surface.

The original has good body when a correct seal is achieved with a slight V.

The ++ has more mids.

As can be seen above the size is generally the same. The bore opening is generally the same if not identical.

Above a comparison to the (original) Andromeda Silicone tips - not sure if they have changed. And the original JVC spiral Dots.

  1. Hi,
    My Question is:
    I have JVC Spiral Dots,
    i Use Medium Size eartips.
    M - Left ear a little loose, if a bit need to work to tighten. Right Ear is just right Fit.
    ML - Left ear a little tighter than just right Fit. Right Ear is tight & not very comfortable.
    So i Use Medium size ear tips.

    But i want to Upgrade to JVC Spiral Dot++.
    I saw other website post mentioning some sizes are different from Spiral Dot Original. But don't know if True.

    Does it mean i use: ML Size on JVC Spiral Dots ++.
    Instead of M Size.

    Thx & very grateful if someone can answer my question.

    1. Hello. Did you also email me? I did send out several photos to someone.

      Buy a set of M and go from there.

      I myself have ML in my left ear and M size spiral dots++ in my right.

      Ear canals can be different sizes and you dont need the same size in each ear if that is the case.

      I would recommend buying MS, M and ML as a decent start actually.
      Then you can really experiment.
