The system allows users to switch to higher-end cables or to use the Ethos Black cable on may other in ear monitors.

The AAW x ShozyHibiki Special Edition SE is well built. With a suitably angled nozzle for comfort, and a body that hugs the inner ear rather well, quite light weight with a screen to protect from ear wax. The other covers I am told are changeable for different looks.
The cable is rubber and has its own shape that goes around the upper ear.
Hibiki SE is good.
It has that Shozy house sound.
Deep overall, solid bass, yet fairly even overall as typical of a single DD.
Lows more present than the mids.
Fast response.
Medium sound stage.
Nice meaty textured sub bass.
More opened up than the original Hibiki, has more extension.
If you have experienced the Zero and original Hibiki you will enjoy the refinement the special edition brings to the table.
The fit of the Hibiki SE like the original slides easily into the outer ear. It resembles the basic shape somewhat, yet is not over worked with any extreme flanges.
I find it comfortable.

Overview
The Hibiki Special Edition has that Shozy signature that can be discovered whether in their daps or earphones.
A full deep low end, lots of body via decent mids and a touch of treble to give it clarity with vocals just above the music, ever so slightly forward.
Although a short review the AAW x Shozy Hibiki Special Edition does not need empty platitudes nor extended commentary. for anyone familiar with the in house Shozy sound the Sound section will ring true I expect.
I enjoy the fit of the Hibiki SE, the cable is well does and hangs nicely, although the pre formed rubber has its predisposed direction, the shell fits nicely in ones ear with its smooth surfaces.
Hibiki SE - If you enjoy a slight V shape with lots of depth and a solid low end with an upper extension you will enjoy the Special Edition.
